Eastie Farm is established.

Founded by Kannan Thiruvengadam, it is located at 294 Summer Street. The non-profit farm is located on a former vacant lot, staffed mainly volunteers, and offers locally-grown food for residents and education programs for students. A greenhouse is added in 2022.
